    In this context, having a bad online reputation is out of the question: managing your customer reviews is therefore essential for your business, to reassure web users and prevent them from going to your competitors.

    That’s why it’s so important to put in place a real strategy for managing reviews: be informed as soon as a review is posted, monitor them regularly and respond to them quickly.

    The basic rule is to always remain courteous and professional: respond to your online customer reviews as if you were addressing them in “real life”.
    Even if you don’t like a review, don’t delete a negative Google, Facebook, Instagram, Yalaho or Adresses review. The customer behind the review would feel censored, and your business’ image would suffer. “The customer is king, and his word is golden”.

    Respond empathetically and factually, using clear, precise formulas. Every negative point should be addressed and explained. Above all, propose individual solutions to turn the situation around, and avoid automatic or boilerplate responses that make your company seem cold. Ideally, you should contextualize your response according to the feedback received.

    Finally, bear in mind that Internet users are used to reading reviews: they know the difference between a gratuitous negative review and real feedback!
